How a Round Works

From the start of a round to the end – every step explained simply

gallery Teen Patti Live Table Card Deal

Teen Patti is played with a standard 52-card deck. At the start of each round, every player receives three cards face down. Before the round begins, a mandatory bet (boot) must be placed in the pot.

After receiving cards, a player decides whether to look at their cards (Seen/Chaal) or play without looking (Blind). Blind players bet less and have a better chance of staying in the pot. Seen players must place at least double the minimum bet.

Turns go clockwise. On each turn, a player either places a bet or folds. The round ends when everyone folds except one player, or when two remaining players go to a Show – the higher-value hand wins the pot.

At gallery's Live Teen Patti tables, the dealer manages all card dealing and Show proceedings – ensuring the rules are followed correctly.

Hand Values and Rankings

Highest to lowest – how strong each hand is

# Hand Name Description
1 Trail / Three of a Kind Three cards of the same value. Three Aces is the highest.
2 Pure Sequence / Straight Flush Three consecutive cards of the same suit.
3 Sequence / Straight Run Three consecutive cards of different suits.
4 Flush / Color Any three cards of the same suit.
5 Pair Two cards of the same value. The higher-value pair wins.
6 High Card If none of the above hands are formed, the highest card is used for comparison.

When does a Show happen?

When only two players remain, either one can request a Show. In a Show, both players' cards are revealed and the higher-value hand wins the pot.

If a Blind player requests a Show, the Seen player cannot refuse – they must reveal their cards. This is an important aspect of the Blind strategy.

If two hands tie on value, suit order is followed: Spades > Hearts > Diamonds > Clubs.

Who Do You Play Against

Dealer vs. multiplayer – the difference between the two formats

gallery Teen Patti Live Dealer Table

Two formats of Teen Patti are available at gallery. The first is the Live Dealer format, where a trained dealer is present and every player receives cards. Here you sit at the same table directly with other real players.

The second is the One-on-One Dealer version, where only you and the dealer compete for the pot. In this format, hand value is the main deciding factor.

Psychology plays a big role at the Live Multiplayer table. Reading other players' behaviour and controlling the pace of your own betting are the core skills of this format. Many Bangladeshi players find this social aspect the most interesting part of Teen Patti.

Both formats are available in the live section of gallery casino – choose based on your preference and experience level.

Getting Started Tips for New Players

Playing for the first time? Keep these tips in mind

01

Start Blind

New players who play a few rounds without looking at their cards (Blind) can stay in the pot with a lower bet and get a chance to understand other players' strategies.

02

Set a betting limit

Before each session, decide on a maximum amount in advance. Stop when that amount is gone – trying to recover losses by betting more is not a sound decision.

03

Start at a small table

Starting at a table with a low boot helps you understand the game's pace without taking big risks. As your experience grows, you can move to larger tables.

04

No shame in folding

Folding quickly when you have a weak hand is the smart move. Instead of trying to stay in every pot, wait for a good hand.

05

Make use of Sideshow opportunities

In some versions you can request a Sideshow against the player next to you. If your hand feels weak, use this opportunity to leave the table and save your bet.

06

Plan, don't react

Raising your bet after a losing streak is a common mistake. Analyse each round with a clear head – the game rewards skill, not just luck.

Popular Teen Patti Variants

Some of the main variants available at gallery

Classic Teen Patti

Played by the standard rules – Blind, Seen, Sideshow, and Show. The feel of a real table with a live dealer.

Original Version

Joker Teen Patti

The deck includes one or more wild cards (Jokers) that can be used as any card. The chance of getting a high-value hand increases.

Wild Card

AK47 Variant

A, K, 4, and 7 – these four cards act as wilds. The pot grows quickly with a higher chance of getting a Trail.

High Action

Muflis (Low Ball)

Reversed Rules

Best of Four

Each player receives four cards and forms the best hand using any three of them. More room for strategic selection.

4-Card Format

TeenPatti Joker (JILI)

JILI's TeenPatti Joker is a digital table game with additional bonus side bets and an auto-deal feature.

Table Conduct and Session Management

Being a good player means not just playing well – it also means knowing the right way to behave

gallery Teen Patti Session Management and Table Conduct
  • Don't waste your turn
Make your decision quickly when it is your turn. Delays at a live table affect the experience of other players.
  • Stay composed in chat
Avoid commenting on other players' hands or decisions in the live chat – it makes everyone uncomfortable.
  • Take a break after losses
If you lose several rounds in a row, take a short break. Keeping your emotions in check is part of responsible gaming.
  • Keep your session budget separate
Only deposit the amount set aside for the session at gallery. Never use money you cannot afford to lose.
  • Respect the age limit
All card and betting games at gallery are for players aged 21 and above only. Follow the responsible gaming guidelines.
  • Stay modest when you win
It is best to avoid excessive celebration after a big win – it keeps the atmosphere at the table positive.

Common Questions About Teen Patti

Frequently asked questions from new and experienced players alike

A Blind player bets without looking at their cards and can place half the bet of a Seen player. Once a player goes Seen, the minimum bet doubles. Staying Blind is a possible strategy – it lets you stay in the pot longer and keeps opponents uncertain.

Yes. You can join Live Teen Patti tables directly through gallery's Android and iOS apps. Even without the app, gallery's site works fully in a mobile browser. Cards and bet details are clearly visible even on a small screen.

A Sideshow can be requested when both players are Seen and seated next to each other. In a Sideshow, the two hands are compared – the weaker hand must fold. This move is useful when your hand is average and you do not want to invest more in the pot.

A Trail (three cards of the same value) is rarer than a Pure Sequence and sits at the top of the rankings. In a 52-card deck, the probability of getting a Trail is lower than that of a Pure Sequence. That is why a Trail is recognised as the highest-value hand in all variants.

Skill plays a major role in Teen Patti. While the card deal involves luck, decisions such as when to stay Blind, when to fold, and when to request a Sideshow depend entirely on the player's judgement. Reading other players' betting patterns to make decisions is an important skill.

In Muflis, or the low ball variant, the rankings are completely reversed. The weakest hand in standard rules – High Card – becomes the strongest here. A Trail and a Pure Sequence are the worst hands in this variant. Beginners who learn the standard rankings well before starting Muflis will find the reversed system easier to understand.
